Initially when I came across Mario Badescu what popped in my head was Super Mario. My brother and I we used to play Mario a lot. We would fight to play video games everyday. And then the famous question “why did we have to grow up!?” Super Mario’s mission is to save the Princess and Mario Badescu Skincare AHA Botanical Body Soap is to save my skin.
Summer time = wearing skirts, shorts, dresses and my legs need to look a bit presentable. I started exfoliating and moisturising intensely to lighten my dark knees, elbows, knuckles. It does work at an extent. I knew I had to get a chemical body wash and cream so I commenced my research. I came by a video of 5 best AHA based body products and Mario Badescu Skincare AHA Botanical Body Soap was one of them. Without any further delay I went to Mecca and grabbed it.
It is a beautiful translucent amber body soap and it smells fruity (a mixture of grapefruit and papaya, very tropical summery kind of scent). The scent lingers for an hour or so.
I have been using it religiously every single day with my The Body Shop Exfoliating Gloves. It lathers nicely. A little bit goes a long way. I leave it on for a good 2-3 minutes after lathering. (To me washing it off so quickly is such a waste). I was literally living under a rock to not have noticed this product after all these time I’ve been to Mecca. It has made my skin so soft (like a rose petal), brightened up my skin, reduced the appearance of brown spots and lightened my knees and elbows considerably.
Super Mario combats the dragon to save the Princess and Mario Badescu Skincare AHA Botanical Body Soap annihilated my body acne and scars.
