Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream Review

DSC_0366

Sudocrem, I always used to see it at home, mum would use it on me of course when I was a baby for those nappy rashes but also because I would have irritable heat rashes.

In Melbourne, during summers, if I expose my skin to the sun, I get more tanned of course and my skin gets burnt really badly, to an extent that it is unbearable to even touch it. So to help my skin, I use Sudocrem.

My Experience:

I am hooked to this product. It is like we are always meant to be together. It is a cute love story where Sudocrem takes care of me, will always be there for me and make me feel better all the time 😛

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is a white colour cream, pretty much the consistency of toothpaste. After application, it dries up to a matte finish. I adore the lavender smell of it, so relaxing. When I apply it on my face, I normally stay in because it leaves a whitish cast on my face, unless you want to step out and look like “La Bella Muerte”. I reckon this would be a pretty good base for Mexican Sugar Skull.on Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos).

I am so clumsy, I always end up getting those scratches and minor cuts and I have no clue how I got them. All the skin allergies that I get and I would scratch them non-stop because it is itchy, until I end up getting reddish skin and even bleeding. Sudocrem does its job and heal them.

As I mentioned earlier I apply a layer on my heat rashes and it is like a miracle. No more redness, itchiness and burnt skin.

Once I used bleach and even though I did a patch test, the new bleach I used, damaged my skin badly and I had to attend an event few days after that. I applied Sudocrem and it worked wonders. There no sign of damage the next day.

When I walk a lot with my heels, I get blisters,I apply Sudocrem and voilà, it dries them up rapidly plus I do not experience any burning sensation when they burst.

I do have Keratosis Pilaris (those unwanted bumps caused by build up of keratin) on my arms and they are itchy, Sudocrem reduces the itchiness instantly. I have also noticed that it does reduce the bumps a bit. About KP, I would do a post on it and what I do to keep it under control.

One of my favourite treatment to dry out pimples, is zap some Sudocrem on it and it will also take care of the redness.

As soon as I notice signs of having a pimple or feel itchy, I reach for Sudocrem. You can say Sudocrem is my precious. Reminds me of Gollum, from the Lord of the Rings, “My Precious! – We wants it, We needs it”!!
